The centerpiece of Blisswood is the incredible 4000sf Krude Kraft Lodge; the perfect union of rustic simplicity and vintage comfort. With its mixture of antiques and original Bliss furnishings, the Lodge opens its doors and welcomes you in. The Lodge is a treat to explore, from its incredible views of the outdoors, to the extraordinary touches built into the design. The dining room, great room and library each feature a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace providing a place to gather to warm the heart and soul. Rich fabrics, historical photos and artwork of the era incorporate a level of richness and sophistication to the decor.

Upstairs, there are three large bedroom suites, each with its own generous bathroom. Cozy linens blend rich hues of florals and tweed to imbue the space with a classic “Ralph Lauren” feel. The state-of-the-art kitchen lacks no convenience—the perfect place to prepare an unforgettable meal and share a glass of wine.

Two sleeper sofas grace the library and two additional half-baths are located downstairs as well.

The grandeur of the lodge lends itself especially well to family celebrations, a special anniversary, or small reunion. Gather with family or friends—the tranquil, picturesque setting of Blisswood will find you wishing your stay would never end.

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched — they must be felt with the heart.

The Blisswood Lodge was originally named Krude Kraft Lodge and it’s still proudly displayed above the lakeside entrance.
